Born in Beech Grove, Indiana, MA is the middle child of five siblings. As the oldest daughter, she became the family's go-to caregiver and learned to cook at an early age. She still loves cooking for her family today!

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, she lived in San Carlos, California, where many of her relatives still reside.

After high school, she married and moved to San Angelo, Texas. She has also lived in Greensboro, North Carolina, and Yalaha, Florida, before settling back in the Indianapolis area, where she enjoys the changing seasons.

MA worked as a Senior Buyer for a Fortune 100 company and as an Administrative Assistant for a large construction company before starting her own business in 1993, which involved traveling the country for trade shows and events.

She started modeling at age sixteen and continued part-time into her late forties.

One of her proudest moments was earning a state ranking as a tennis player. She’s still active with sports, enjoying table tennis, pool, golf, and fishing.

MA loves telling creative bedtime stories to her grandchildren, and those tales are still remembered fondly. Her oldest grandson, Jay, encouraged her to write her first book, Shadows of December.

In 1999, she met her soul mate, Herb. They married in a breathtaking ceremony overlooking Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, Canada, and have since traveled across the U.S. and Europe. They love to visit Montana, inspired by its wildlife and snowcapped mountains.

MA was a state-ranked tennis player and supports the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts, but also encourages her kids to follow teams from various parts of the country, including the Raiders, Packers, and Cowboys.

Nowadays, MA enjoys peaceful moments with her husband on their Indiana acreage, where she continues to dream up new adventures and storylines in a gazebo overlooking a tranquil lake.
